PRIVACY INFORMATION STATEMENT
This page contains the management methods of the re. site with reference to the processing of personal data of all users surfing through the site itself. This information is provided pursuant to Article 13 of European Regulation 2016/679 to those who interact with the company’s web services. The information statement is provided for this site only and not for other websites that the user may consult through links.
The information statement identifies some minimum requirements for the online collection of personal data and, in particular, methods, times and nature of the information that the owners of data processing must give the users when they connect to web pages, independently of the purposes of such connection.

 

THE DATA “CONTROLLER”
While surfing this site, data concerning identified or identifiable individuals can be processed. The corresponding data “controller” is Sarong S.p.A. in the person of its pro tempore legal representative.

 

THE DATA PROCESSING PREMISES
The processing connected with the web services on this site occurs at the registered office, carried out exclusively by the technical staff of the Data Processing Office, or potentially by persons charged with occasional maintenance operations.
No data from the web service is communicated or disclosed. The personal data provided by users who submit requests for informational material (newsletters, CD-ROMs, catalogues, price lists, answers to queries, various documents, etc…) is used solely to perform the service requested.

 

TYPE OF DATA PROCESSED

Navigation data
The IT systems and software procedures relied upon to operate this website acquire personal data as part of their standard functioning; the transmission of such data is an inherent feature of the Internet communication protocols.
This information is not collected for association with identified parties, those concerned, but may by their nature, through processing and association with data held by third parties, permit the identification of users.
This category of data includes IP addresses or the domain names of the computers of the users connecting to the site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the required resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained as a reply, the numeric code of the status of the reply sent by the server (ok, error, etc) and other parameters linked with the user’s OS and computer processing environment.
These data items are used only to get anonymous statistic information about the use of the site and to check its correct operation. All data are immediately deleted after processing. Data could be used to ascertain responsibilities in case of hypothetical computer processing violations against the site. Currently, no data item about web contacts is kept for longer than seven days.

Data voluntarily sent by the user
The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of e-mails to the addresses stated in this site involves the subsequent acquisition of the sender address, required to reply to the requests, and all other possible personal data entered in the message.
Specific summary statements will progressively be indicated or displayed on the specific pages of the site for particular services on request.

Apart from the specifications of browsing data, the user can decide if giving his/her personal data or not.
If no data communication is given, the required information could not be obtained.

 

PROCESSING METHODS
The personal data is processed with automated instruments for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected.
Specific security measures are observed to prevent data leaks, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorised access.

 

TRANSFERS TO THIRD COUNTRIES
Any transfer of personal data to a third country outside the European Union or to an international organisation will take place on the basis of an adequacy decision by the Commission or, in the case of transfers pursuant to Articles 46, 47 or 49, second paragraph of the European Regulation, on the basis of appropriate and adequate safeguards.

 

RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS
The subjects to whom the personal data refer have the right at any time to request access to the data and their rectification, their cancellation, the limitation of their processing, the right to object to their processing, as well as the right to data portability; they also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority.
