Automatic vertical FS machine for packaging up to 6.000 suppositories/ovules per hour in plastic cavities (thermoforming process).

The SAAS 2 RFS is a very simple, robust and compact machine. lts servomotors and mechanical movements ensure perfect operation with constant synchronism and guarantee high reliability with limited maintenance.

The SAAS 2 RFS works from rolls of preformed plastic suppository/ovule cavities featuring in the same frame three working stations:

• Filling unit, which fill the suppositorial mass into the cavities formed in the strip.

• Cooling unit, which solidifies the suppositorial mass.

• Sealing/cutting unit, which seals each cavity, stamps a code number, knurls strips and cuts the strip into any set number of suppositories.

A PLC controls the machine’s operating logic, manages alarms and temperature regulation and releases production data. HMI on touch panel.

As an optional, it is also possible to have a PC as user interface.

> Optimized process allowing no waste during production and in case of machine stop;

> Micrometric regulation of product filled into the cavities;

> Cooling process for product solidification, featuring a spiral travel path where the suppositories are cooled by filtered air at controlled temperature, on both sides, until perfect solidification;

> The continuous band allows setting any number of suppositories for pack;

> Possibility to upgrade the SAAS 2 RFS to the SAAS 2 AP, by adding the thermoforming and/or the cold forming group.

> Max. Output: 6.000 suppositories/h
