Vertical Form, Fill & Seal for suppositories and ovules

The technological/technical principles used for our Form, Fill & Seal machines for suppository/ovule are based on a continuous band formed by two films. For plastic films, the containers are thermoformed, for aluminum foil the containers are cold-formed. The suppositorial mass is then  filled into the containers by a volumetric pump. The filled containers pass through a cooling tunnel to solidify the product. The process ends with the sealing of the packages and the cutting of the continuous band into strips of set number.

MAIN FEATURES:
> State-of-the-art design and manufacturing process complying with the latest regulations in terms of product quality and safety ;
> High Performances, Efficiency, Durability, Quality;
> Sustainability (Energy and packaging material optimization);
> Integration with upstream and downstream machinery (process equipment, , cartoning);
> Operator Interface through PC;
> CFR21 Part11 compliant SW;
> Integration with MES and remote supervision systems (SCADA).

Vertical Form Fill & Seal for liquids

The technological/technical principles used for our Form, Fill & Seal machines FFS for liquids/semi-liquids are based on a continouscontinuous band made from two reels of plastic film, each strip thermoformed inside the forming mould using compressed air, heat sealed together, vertically filled through a volumetric pump, then individually sealed in the heated sealing mould and cut in strips of the pre-set number of containers.

MAIN ADVANTAGES:

> State-of-the-art design and manufacturing process complying with the latest regulations in terms of product quality and safety (CE, eGMP, GAMP, CFR, etc);
> High Performances, Efficiency, Durability, Quality;
> Sustainability (Energy and packaging material optimization);
> Integration with upstream and downstream machinery (cartoning, end-of-line);
> Operator Interface through PC;
> CFR21 Part11 compliant SW;
> Integration with MES and remote supervision systems (SCADA).

Each machine is manufactured in compliance with the CE regulations on safety. The pneumatic part and the electrical boxes are totally separated from the mechanical part and are located on the upper or lower part of the machine, integrated on the machine frame.
All these features have been already tested in several production lines on the market, confirming Sarong’ leadership in the thermoforming process, while delivering high quality of both machinery and customer service.
Sarong’s R&D and technical/technological specialists will support you in identifying the most appropriate packaging solution and the right material for your end-product.
